    Simmilar situation with my company- Company A merged with (B-India) and named as C .
    We were informed all is well and taken care of with company's legal team.

    Immediately after merger, I also got stamped in Chennai with old company name A in I 797 and enterd with I 94 at POE without any problem.

    So it seems this may not be an issue. It isonly my opinion and personal experience.

    Now a days many companys are following this route to cope up with new lottery H1 issues.

    Hello I recently purchased a Nikon D70 to use for concert photography. I was using a Sony Mavica CD-250 but it wasn't cutting it for the larger shows where no flash could be used. I just did my first show where flash could not be used and the pictures came out so-so. I have 2 lenses a Nikkor AF 28-80mm and a Nikkor AF 70-300mm. I have full access to photo pits in front of the stage and am wondering what the best settings are for the D70 in these conditions to ensure at least some of the photos will come out decent.

    Your Employer letter should be sufficient to support your wife from your employer,u don't need any other stuff,you can also tell your attorney about the form I-134 for Affadavit for support thats all you need,everything should be ok,don't worry be happy.

    Folks,

    The "Time as Resident in a USCIS District" clause in the naturalization process says that "Most people must live in the USCIS District or State in which they are applying for at least 3 months before applying".

    If you have gone thru this process could you please tell if this means that
    a. the person must have stayed for at least 3 months during any time during of the residency period to be eligible to apply in that district

    OR,

    b. the person must live in the district for at least 3 months immediately preceding the naturalization application (for example, if applying in July 2010 then must be present in that state/district at least since Apr 2010)

    The reason I'm asking is that I know people who live in India after GC and then come return to get citizenship...so wondering how it worked...

    Hello everybody,

    Since my last post I have done a lot of research on this site and i think i have found the answer to most things. I am curious to find out if anyone has been in the same situation and have a couple of questions left.

    1. Since now I am married but when my I-485 was filed I was single, do I need to ammend the I-485?
    2. Do I need to let the attorney know that we are self filing for my wife?

    A 7th year extension is still possible, but the extension petition must be filed within 180 days of the LC approval. ( per current DOlL regulations, the LC expires after 180 days). My advice would be to have company B file to amend it's petition, requesting a validity date of 12/12.

    yes still labor transfer is possible ..But you have to very carefull.. you need to find what was companys financial position at that time when labor was filled. wheather you were fullfiling your experience as required in Labor at that time... and you need to check the companys situation if it is not blaclisted by DOL.

    It is just my openion you can check with attorney's.

    Sorry I am not going to be help, but I would be interested in knowing when you find, why that was so.. I am one of the unlucky few whu missed the July 2007 filing bonanza by 1 day, based on when my labor was filed.. so if there is an alternate way to assign PD..     I have a question, for my fresh petition 2010 will it be subject to the H1B CAP??

    There are many diferent opinions, i too understood that renewals and extensions wont be subject to cap. But there is no clear statement on my scenario.

    NOID - Notice of intend to Deny.
    RFE - Request for evidence.

    For I-140 USCIS does not update the online status properly. For both of my EB3 and EB2 I-140s still the case status says they received the application and processing!

    Wait for the document that they sent.
